Vocational: Program professional with over 18 years of career experience in nonprofit organizations. He has worked in student development, program leadership and implementation, children and youth development, grant management, and partnership management. Has worked for Compassion International Uganda Field Office since July 2009. Has served in various roles at Compassion including Field-Based Partnership Facilitator, Leadership Development Program Team Lead, and Senior Partnership Facilitator. He currently serves as the Manager of Program Support, overseeing Compassion Uganda’s programming support in Child and Youth Development, Refugees Assistance, and Complementary Interventions.

Educational: Has a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College, in Wheaton IL, USA, a Post-graduate Diploma in Development Studies from Mbarara University, and a Bachelor of Arts with Education from Makerere University. Currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership at Lancaster Bible College, in Lancaster Pennsylvania, USA. Has attained other trainings, including Institute for National Transformation (INT).

Other Ministries: Member, Discipleship Team, at The City Church and is involved in informal mentoring relationships with youth at the church. Member, Board of Directors, Global Link Africa, since 2012.

Family: Married to Sylvia K. Kalyebara since 2006 with 3 children: Nancy, Elijah & Victoria.

Others: Loves to read, a good movie, and distance running.
